GP5d binary STARR-seq template-switch TSS motif positioning

Sequence determinants of human gene regulatory elements

Template-switch libraries from two GP5d binary STARR-seq RNA replicates captured 5′ transcript ends and localized transcription start sites within active random promoters. The table reports motif-match counts by position and strand relative to the TSS rather than an RNA/input activity ratio.

Processed tables are specific to each experiment. Column names, units, measurements, and table structure are not standardized across the database. Check this experiment’s column definitions and quality-control notes before comparing or combining data.

Perturbation & assay details

Basal / Untreated

Template-switch chemistry captured 60-bp flanks around each TSS from the binary STARR-seq reporter, with the deposited GSE180155 table combining two GP5d template-switch replicates. Motif matches were identified with the source motif models and are summarized relative to the inferred TSS.

Quality control

The source contained 238,239 rows. Package QC required positions within -60 to +60 bp, nonnegative integer motif-match counts, valid strand values, and valid motif identifiers; all rows passed and were retained.

Curation notes

This is a derived TSS-positioning readout from the binary GP5d assay, not a separate reporter library or cell-line condition. It is retained because it directly reports promoter/TSS sequence determinants.
